The recently launched Child Labour Helpline is proving quite effective in hyderabad. Based on complaints received on it, district officials swung into action and rescued seven children, including a boy, from bonded labour after raids on several houses in city.

People in Nepal show a new way to finance their children. They give goats, chickens, food items and wood to keep the schools going. In return, the schools provide education to their children. Since government aid has yet to arrive here, villagers have been providing animals and food grains in exchange for their children's education.
