Vatavaran, India’s premier environment and wildlife film festival is an endeavour to provide a national platform and promote aspiring and brilliant environment and wildlife filmmakers. The effort is also to bring to the fore larger environmental concerns, to generate timely debate on the topical environmental issues involving people.

Through the platform of Vatavaran, collaborating with individuals, organizations and civil society groups, media and young people, we can inculcate tolerance, respect, understanding and appreciation for nature and wildlife so that we can explore and develop ways to coexist. Vatavaran Festivals are also an opportunity to converge and become participants and partners in preservation and conservation efforts.
