Special Advisor to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annan and director, Earth Institute at Columbia University Jeffrey D Sachs, in his new book - The End of Poverty Economic Possibilities for Our Time says that removing poverty is immensely possible within our lifetimes. The book, which has a foreword by Bono, provides a blueprint for eliminating extreme poverty from the world by year 2025.
