Down To Earth holds exhibition on Tsunami

DOWN TO EARTH is holding an exhibition of photographs taken on the eve of the first anniversary of the Tsunami in Asia. These photos are from the worst affected villages from the south Indian regions of Pondicherry and Tamil Nadu.

The photographs are by Pradip Saha and are of a rebuilt landscape and people who are still living along the coast line.

THE PROGRAMME:
Join on 10th January, 2006 at 5.30 pm at the Amphitheatre of India Habitat Centre for -
  • Exhibition opening
  • An illustrated account of life after Tsunami by Annie George of NGO Coordination and Resource Committee, Nagapattinam
  • Screening of 'Children of Tsunami', a 50 minutes video produced by Television Trust for the Environment Asia Pacific (TVEAP)
