Call for papers: eAsia 2009

CSDMS, India and ICTA, Sri Lanka organises eAsia 2009, a three day international consultative dialogue-cum-exhibition to promote ICT4D from December 2-4, 2009 in Sri Lanka. Interested participants can send proposals on ICT for development by September 15, 2009.

Centre for Science, Development and Media Studies (CSDMS), India and Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), Sri Lanka have joined hands to organise 4th annual eASiA 2009.

The annual international Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for development event eAsia, is organised with the objective of reinforcing technology and knowledge-centric growth and needs of Asia vis-à-vis Sri Lanka, through capitalisation of market economy and boosting human development.

eAsia 2009 – Opportunities for Digital Asia will provide the right opportunity for all stakeholders in the ICT arena to come closer and share a level-playing ground through active conferencing and networking.

Spanning over three days, the event will comprise unique thematically inter-related conferences, in the domains of

  • e-Governance,
  • Digital Learning,
  • e-Health,
  • Telecentres and,
  • Emerging e-Technologies.

October 1, 2009

Full Paper Submission:

November 3, 2009

Guidelines for Abstract and Paper Submission

People sending their abstracts/ full paper through email are requested to strictly follow the guidelines given below. Incomplete papers will not be accepted.

  • File format – Word Document or PDF
  • Font style – Arial or Times New Roman in single column format
  • Font size- 12 for paper
  • Font size- 14 for the title and authors
  • Line spacing -1.5 lines
  • Margins-One inch (2.5cm) at the top, bottom and sides of the page
  • Word limit for abstract should be around 500 words
  • The title of the paper should not exceed 8 words.

December 2-4, 2009 at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
