Ecofilms 2009
Image & Environment Society invites films, documentaries and features for ‘ecofilms’, an international films & visual arts festival to be held from June 23-28, 2009 in Rodos, Greece. The entries focusing on issues related to environment conservation should reach latest by March 1, 2009.
Held in Greece, the Rodos International Films & Visual Arts Festival titled: Ecofilms is one of the most important environmental film festivals in the world and co-founder of Environmental Films Festival Network (EFFN).
Organised by Image & Environment Society and Rodos Cultural Organisation, the festival will be held from June 23-28, 2009 in Rodos Greece.
Entries are invited in the form of documentaries, shorts and features with environmental and ecological themes, encouraging conservation issues and issues related with the natural, the human and the built environment.
Prizes are awarded to the films for their innovative approach in conservation issues and for their daring proposal in subject matter and their artistic qualities overall.
The International jury awards prizes for both the international and national competition categories and the two audience awards are coordinated by the Rodos Cinema Society.
