Film festival: Quotes from the Earth
Delhi based Toxics Link is inviting entries to a film festival on environment from December 19-20, 2008 in the Indian capital. The event will showcase award winning documentaries highlighting a multitude of voices and views from across the globe.

Water is important for economic development, and many parts of India already face issues of water scarcity, which will only multiply.
The hydrological cycle is predicted to be more intense, with higher annual average rainfall as well increased drought. Global food crisis is a reality and sub-Saharan Africa is caught in its throes again.
To engage audience on such issues of justice and equity, Delhi based Toxics Link is organising a film festival on environment from December 19-20, 2008 in the Indian capital.
Called ’Quotes from the Earth’, the event brings in a collection of award winning and topical environmental documentaries highlighting a multitude of voices and views on environment from across the globe.
Last date for sending entries is October 20, 2008.
