How to design development projects

Sambodhi, a leading research and training organisation, will hold an international workshop on designing development projects from February 18-23 at New Delhi, India. The programme will help development professionals improve their understanding of all relevant factors in planning a successful project.

Say what you do and do what you say”. This is the underlying philosophy behind a result-oriented and accountable action. In order to achieve desired outcomes from a project, it requires a result-based management.

Logic Framework Analysis (LFA) serves as an effective tool for designing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating development projects. It helps decision-makers in identifying all relevant factors necessary in planning a successful project.

To gain this understanding about LFA, Sambodhi, a leading development research, training and consultancy organisation in India, is organising the International Training Programme on Logical Framework Analysis for Designing Development Projects from February 18-23, 2008 at New Delhi.

The programme is for development professionals and consultants working with donor agencies, government departments, NGOs on strategic and tactical panning of large scale development projects.

Objective

The programme is aimed at augmenting participants’ knowledge on logical framework analysis and to enable them apply this approach in different scenarios.

Methodology

The programme has been designed for skill upgradation and knowledge development through learning from participants’ experience, interactive classroom sessions supplemented by latest training material prepared by leading subject experts.

Fee

The programme fee is USD 1,000 per participant that includes tuition fee, reading material, food and lodging. Service tax at 12.36% would be levied on the course fee and has to be included in the payments.

Payments can be made through cheque/demand raft in favour of Sambodhi Research and Communications Pvt. Ltd., payable at New Delhi.
