This course (see brochure below) will be beneficial for all those who want to understand the developmental paradigms in India especially the southern perspective.

This is an interactive course with students' participation and presentation of case studies as one of the highlights.

During this intensive course, participants will explore the complexities underlying the environment-development debate in India.

Apart from lectures, readings, presentations and debates, participants will also get to read, report, watch films and review them, attend seminars, and interact with guest speakers, eminent activists and policy makers.

As part of their assignment, participants will put together an online documentary project, using text, video and audio.

The programme also includes weekly outings and a week-long field trip to rural India.

Course fee
The course fee is Rs. 15,000 and includes all field excursions, reading materials, lunch and refreshments during training day. The fee does not cover accommodation or meals. Outstation participants can be helped with accommodation, on request.
