National seminar on wastewater management

Centre for Science and Environment is organising a national seminar on ‘Decentralised Wastewater Management Practices: Options and Challenges’ in February 2012 in New Delhi, India.

The aim of the seminar is to act as a forum to discuss and share experiences regarding the existing and upcoming decentralised sewage treatment concepts and technologies.

The focus will be to document natural system based technologies-onsite and offsite (wastewater treatment in flowing drains, rivers, lakes, tanks etc.)

Abstracts are invited from water experts at national level (including academicians, scientists, engineers, practitioners, researchers, consultants and managers) to present case studies on sustainable wastewater management practices – onsite & offsite.

Submissions should include full title of the paper, initials and surname of author(s), current institutional affiliation(s) with complete postal address, telephone/fax numbers and email Id of all the authors. Abstract should be maximum of 250 words.

Last date for abstract submission: January 14, 2012
