Parivartan, a not-for-profit civil society organisation, strives to build capacities of livelihood practitioners working with poor producers to help them participate in, and benefit from, existing and potential market opportunities in the local and national economy.

Our aim is to better the design and implementation of market development programs for livelihood enhancement. This we believe can be achieved by incorporating techniques and methods for understanding trends and constraints and for identification of how small producers can adapt and grow, as projects conclude and - more importantly - as markets change.

On this premise Parivartan announces a training programme on Markets & Marketing for Micro Enterprise Development from 5-7 May 2009 at New Delhi. The training fee for the programme is INR 6,000 per participant.

The training is specifically aimed at integrating market concerns in planning and implementation of livelihood projects.
