Indian Association for Social Sciences and Health (IASSH) is organising its sixth conference from March 7-8, 2009 at Puducherry. Social scientists, health experts and policymakers will explore evolving an equitable and affordable healthcare model in India.
Making trade gender sensitive (, from 24 February 2008 to 27 February 2008)
An international seminar by UNCTAD will focus on gender concerns in trade in India and other developing countries from 25-27 February at New Delhi. The forum aims to sensitise trade experts, policy makers and stakeholders, and seek ways to integrate women into the international trade system.

Campaign for Judicial Accountability and Judicial Reforms is organising its Second National Convention on Judiciary and the Poor on February 23-24 in Indian capital New Delhi. The convention is targeting grassroots organisations to gain a better understanding of judiciary’s approach towards the poor.

Sambodhi, a leading research and training organisation, will hold an international workshop on designing development projects from February 18-23 at New Delhi, India. The programme will help development professionals improve their understanding of all relevant factors in planning a successful project.
