New Delhi: Drawing inspiration from the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ‘Divyang – Ek Ummeed’ is a mission to work towards inclusiveness of physically challenged persons in the main stream of the society.

As a first step towards accomplishment of this mission, team divyang has built an user friendly and easy to use mobile application named ‘Divyang’ . This mobile application brings physically challenged persons on a common platform and make them aware about the government initiatives, NGOs, acts and policies, etc. To download the app click here.

This is an initiative by Vikas Gupta who is a 2016 batch IIT Roorkee, BTech alumnus. Vikas himself faced many challenges due to his disability. After his graduation he has fully devoted his time and energy to reach out to all Divyangjans (physically challenged persons).

The app was launched by Ira Singhal (2014 UPSC topper). She appreciated the mission and gave her best wishes.

This mission is being consistently supported by a team of dedicated young professionals, all sections of the society, industry, the government and academia. In collaboration with Government, NGOs and Corporate this mission will soon offer facility for skill development and employment.
