“I have completed my Post Graduation Diploma in Journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication and I’m currently working at Pratham Foundation as Program Associate – Central English Team.

My internship experience with One World South Asia had been a period where I gathered immense knowledge, learning, critical understanding, exposure to office environment, friends, respect and a relation of trust. One World unveiled me to the societal issues which were beyond my knowledge and the role of media to aware people about those issues. I meticulously worked with the news desk and my major responsibilities included reporting, editing, creating development stories, updating the content of the website and uploading it timely. During my internship I also had the opportunity to gather primary information in order to create news reports and win by-lines. I am thankful to One World for developing and brushing my skills as it is helping a lot in my profession today.”
