DSDS brings the developed and developing world together: Venkatesh Valluri

Jan 23, 2014

Venkatesh Valluri, Chairman and President, Ingersoll Rand India, says that DSDS is a platform where the developed world and the developing world come together for the overall benefit of humanity. He believes that it's just not about policy and guidelines which this group can charter out and build, but also talk about the unique opportunity which can actually be deployed for the benefit of the human race. The three key subjects of food water and energy can actually be solved by technology. Valluri also emphasizes on the 'convergence approach' -- pooling in technologies together to build solutions and not just one isolated way of developing a technology or innovation. DSDS has matured and continues to mature and Venkatesh Valluri feels proud to be a part of this initiative.
