Senior Program Coordinator
Centre for Social Equity and Inclusion, (CSEI) is engaged in deepening democracy and development in our body politic by enhancing the stakehold of the excluded and marginalized communities in socio-economic and cultural (SEC) rights within the ambit of wider human rights. Recognizing exclusion and discrimination against Dalits, Adivasis and minority communities, particularly children, youth and women among them, CSEI keeps ‘equity-inclusion’ as our watch words in focusing on rights to education, employment and governance for these social groups
Location or Base:
Patna city with extensive travelling to the rural areas of Patna
Date of Joining:
First week of November 2014
1.Ensuring implementation of program strategies focusing on achievement of the results
2.Developing innovative inclusive activities to be carried out with the most marginalized Dalit children and youth associated with schools, communities and learning centers.
3.Co-ordination various CSEI programs and activities to promote equity and inclusion in education
4.Team building, management and capacity building of field staff
5.Developing indicators, MIS and high quality reports for all the above
6.Preparation of advocacy related documents such as news letter, short paper, quarterly assessment report etc
7.Any other in keeping with the emerging opportunities and demands of the organization
1.Post-graduation in Social Work/ Education.
2.At least 5 years of experience in working with education for the marginalized communities
3.Sensitivity and understanding of the issues of Dalit rights and inclusive education
4.Excellent interpersonal skills
5.Ability to lead project plans according to the vision of the organization
6.Command over English and Hindi
Will be based on experience of the candidate.
In-person interview will be conducted to ensure the competency of the candidate and alignment
