New Delhi: Leading educational institute, Amity University is hosting a national conference aiming at 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

The conference titled, Shaping India 2030: Sustainable Development and Socio-Economic Perspectives & Challenges is being organized by the Amity School of Economics in collaboration with Quality Council of India, Confederation of Indian Industry and the CII-ITC Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development.

OneWorld South Asia is the media partner for the conference. The two day conference will be held from March 23 to 24, 2017 at the Amity University Campus, Amity University, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

The conference focuses on addressing the issue of Sustainable development and more specifically aims to achieve the following. The conference will aim to generate wide spread awareness regarding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

  • Please fill the registration form and send it along with a Demand Draft / Pay order in favor of “Amity University Uttar Pradesh”, payable at Noida, to Conference Chair at the following address:
  • The registration can also be made by physically coming to the university campus.
  • A provision has also been made to send a representative from Amity School of Economics to the delegate’s campus/organization provided the campus/organization is in Delhi-NCR.

Call for Papers

The conference is also inviting applications for paper presentations. Original papers, those are not under review elsewhere, along with abstract are to be submitted.  The last date for the full paper submission along with the abstracts is March 18, 2017.

The abstract should not be more than 300 words with 3-5 keywords, typed in the font Times New Roman, font size 12, with a title page indicating title of the paper names, affiliation, complete mailing address, telephone number and email id. These may be submitted as an e-attachment in MS word to the Conference Convener at aseconference2017@gmail.com.

Innovative Trade Practices & Policy initiatives - Digital India, Make in India, Globalization, innovative political ideologies, Challenges for the government in implementing policies towards sustainable growth.

Inclusive Growth - HDI, Human capital & Labor, Education and Skill Development, jobless growth– lesson learnt.

Tertiary Sector -Eco-tourism, Hospitality industry, Framework of sustainable growth in tourism, is emerging trends in service sector promoting sustainable growth.

Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings with ISBN number.

  • Good quality research papers will be eligible for the screening for getting published in the Scopus Indexed Journal.
