Sulekha Nair

sulekha_nair.jpgA working journalist for the past 20 years, Sulekha Nair has worked in both newspapers and magazines. For a short while she also worked for radio.

Her interest lies in business features, which she has been pursuing since the beginning of her career. She  feels there is more to news than just breaking news or the brick and mortar side of businesses and entrepreneurs, founders or visionaries. These are the interesting facets that she is keen on and she has made concerted efforts to show what makes people take the decisions or pursue the paths they have or want to.

From the beginning of her career, she has taken an interest in developmental issues – be it mass marriages of tribals, income generation of the illiterate or teaching new skills to the poor. Or, even the pursuit of a few individuals to keep traditions and heritages alive in arts and artisans. She has also written extensively on corporate social responsibility.
