B​illabong High School conducts ‘Adopt a School' campaign

The librarian and teachers of BHIS also conducted a workshop with the teachers of a Wadi Bunder Public School.

Mumbai: As part of ‘Adopt a School' campaign the students of BHIS gifted​ the children of Wadi Bunder Public School a collection of 200 books that included short stories, fiction and non-fiction books.

​​The campaign is ​an initiative to set up​ a library for 5 under-privileged/government schools​​ in the course of the year​ as an opportunity for them to inculcate the basic English language which is very essential in today's day​ and enrich themselves with the knowledge.​

The librarian and teachers of BHIS also conducted a workshop with the teachers of a Wadi Bunder Public School on 'Librarian Curriculum', the library curriculum teaches basic library etiquette and the foundation of the English Language.

​'It is always a pleasure to inpart knowledge of any kind, It is my dream to watch children grow, these are our very own who will be blooming buds some day. I'm proud to be an integral part of this movement' says Lina Ashar.
