Trust aims at raising Rs 12,60,000 for physically disabled in a month

Mumbai-based Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust uses crowdfunding platform for Callipers and Prosthetic legs for the physically disabled.

Mumbai: Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust is aiming to raise Rs. 12,60,000 in a span of one month to help the physically disabled people of the country.

The crowdfund event “Help support 500 disabled to walk with dignity” is working towards providing mobility equipment to 400 beneficiaries.

Equipment’s to be provided are

1. Fitting callipers to polio-affected children/youth

2. Fitting of Jaipur foot prosthetics

3. Distribution of hearing aids

Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust is a registered charity that was established in 1990 by Mr Mahendra Mehta. From its humble origins as a family institution it has grown rapidly and now its projects cover a wide range of activities located in both India and other developing countries, including Afghanistan, Sudan, Kenya, and Burundi.
