Navjyoti Delhi Police Foundation

Navjyoti- Delhi Police Foundation, was established in 1987 under the leadership of Dr. Kiran Bedi (First Women, IPS Officer) as a result of inextricable link that existed between crime and drugs. What started as a small initiative for rehabilitation and training has grown into a large network of community development programs in three major resettlement areas of Delhi, namely Jahangirpuri, Holambikalan, and Bawana, Rural development program in Naya Gaon, Gurgaon and Drug De-Addiction and Training Centre in Kerala. It’s multidimensional approach to community development providing services in order to educate, empower and rehabilitate has provided a ray of hope to these otherwise disadvantaged group. Every day they reach out to more than 7435 individuals
