Research in Environment, Education,and Development Society ( REEDS )

REEDS is a grassroot voluntary organisation working for the wefare of the needy people in the most backward areas of Andhra Pradesh,India with a vision of sustainable dvelopment. To reach this vision REEDS has organised SHGs and through the SHG federation implementing the activies of providing safe drinking water,sanitation facilities,hygiene education, rooftop rainwater harvesting structures, grain storage banks, integrated pest management, community forest management, NRM,Agro forestry,vermiculture,identification of local medicinal plants and their uses, prvention of HIV/AIDS, reproductive child health activities, elimination child labour through women empowerment, sensitising local self govt.elected representatives, environmental education to school children.
