Mainstreaming Poverty Environment Linkages into Development Planning: A Handbook for Practitioners

Jun 25, 2012

This handbook has been designed to serve as a guide for the practitioners engaged in the task of mainstreaming poverty-environment linkages into national development planning.

The handbook talks about ‘Poverty environment mainstreaming’, a process which streamlines the path to work towards pro poor economic growth and environmental stability.  This path essentially aims to integrate the linkages between the environment and poverty reduction into government practices and institutions.

It prepares the roadmap for achieving the twin imperatives of pro poor growth and sustainable development.
