Instead of groundwater, Gurgaon builders can use sewage water: CSE
Jul 18, 2012 In a city where 70 per cent of water needs are fulfilled through groundwater sources, the recent High Court’s judgment of holding back the construction activity in Gurgaon will not be sufficient to meet the city's required demand of 184 million litres a day (MLD), says CSE. It further suggests that Gurgaon should instead depend on 137 MLD of treated sewage water, which according to CSE, will be more than sufficient to meet the water needs of builders.
