Modern police apparatuses in big cities are no guarantee of safety for women, a Parliamentary panel said on Saturday, disclosing something that we could never have guessed. Delhi accounts for the highest rates of crimes against women at 13.3 per cent of crime rate, followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad and Vijayawada, it says. The surprise entries are Bangalore and Hyderabad.
