Oxfam is organising its global fundraising campaign, the Oxfam Trailwalker, in India this year. The event sees a team of four people walk 100 km in rural India in 24 hours and raise funds for fighting poverty. This year's event begins on February 10-12, 2012, in Bangalore.

Oxfam Trailwalker India will be held on 10-12 Feb 2012 and will see 150 teams walk from the Cauvery Sangamma, through the rugged and beautiful villages of South Bangalore to finish in Bidadi. But you don’t need to be a marathon runner or a professional athlete to do it! Whether you’re old friends, a group of mums, running buddies or work mates, with training and the right mental attitude just about anyone can be a Trailwalker. Check out all of our resources to help you get prepared!

Trailwalker is challenging, but you don’t need to be a marathon runner or a professional athlete to do it. Whether you’re old friends, a group of mums, running buddies or work mates, with training and the right mental attitude, just about anyone can do it. And we give you plenty of resources to get prepared!

Each team must commit to raising at least Rs. 40,000 to support Oxfam’s work in India. Fundraising can be challenging, but it’s also great fun! Check out the Fundraising section for your event to find tips and resources to help you meet your fundraising goals.
