Nepal PM calls for action against poverty

Observing the World Anti-Poverty Day, Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) called for actions against poverty, requesting citizens to Stand Up and Take Action. The Stand Up campaign is a growing global movement against poverty and for the Millennium Development Goals.
On October 17, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, Nepal's Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda) issued a press release calling for actions against poverty and requesting citizens to Stand Up and Take Action along with the full commitment from the government. He also urged the international community to fulfill its pledge towards poverty eradication.
